ABOUT
Born & raised on the north shore of Massachusetts, Jeff is an Underwater Photographer, Underwater Cinematographer & Wildlife Filmmaker, Professional Freediver, Marine Wildlife Guide, Certified PADI Divemaster and Freediver Instructor, and USCG Master 100 Ton Licensed Captain. Layered by underwater, aerial, outdoor, travel, conservation, science, adventure, and lifestyle content, Jeff is known for his creative style of shooting underwater seascapes with freedivers/divers as the subjects, interacting with marine wildlife, and telling powerful stories about the exploration and preservation of some of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems. From sharks to cetaceans, kelp forests to coral reefs, marine protected areas to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, he has dove, guided, and shot in marine wildlife hotspots all across the globe including both coasts of the United States, Caribbean islands in The Bahamas and Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Baja California Peninsula, Islands in the Eastern Tropical Pacific, the Arctic Circle, the European North Atlantic, the Adriatic Sea and Africa to name a few.
Jeff’s unique, multi-faceted skill set allows him to work and thrive just as well in front of the lens as he does behind. Whether he is working as an underwater director of photography, underwater stuntman, or he is facilitating production safety and logistics, Jeff’s 360 degree breadth of underwater and production experience makes him a great asset to any production team and allows him to work comfortably on scuba or breath hold with a wide range of production equipment. This enables him to easily work in the water capturing incredibly intimate encounters and unforgettable imagery.
Working to promote the ocean and its wonders has lead Jeff to work on and in the ocean internationally for almost a decade on projects for industry leading eco-friendly brands, global conservation societies and non-profits, ecotourism companies, social media influencers, and international documentaries and campaigns promoting wildlife conservation and the protection of marine ecosystems. He has had the opportunity to work with PBS, Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Barstool Sports, Karmagawa, Save the Reef, Nakawe Project, The Cape Eleuthera Institute, Ocearch, and Lifeproof to name a few.
